Who is eligible to participate? Eligible Job Seekers are people who:
- Self-identify as Autistic, neurodivergent, and / or as a person with a disability.
- Are motivated and actively looking for a job.
- Want to learn how to prepare for and find employment.
- Need support to keep a job.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
- And have the legal right to work in Canada (for example, Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with refugee status.
What is the service format?
EmploymentWorks provides support with getting a job and keeping a job. With support available up to one year.
Getting A Job
You will work with EmploymentWorks staff to identify your goals, explore job options, and actively pursue employment.
Activities include:
- Individualized employment action planning.
- Regular one-to-one facilitator support.
- Active job search and employer engagement.
- Workplace exposure opportunities to explore role fit and build experience.
- Targeted skill development through eLearning modules, LinkedIn Learning, and in-person group sessions.
Keeping A Job
Once you get a job, EmploymentWorks can continue to provide support to help you succeed in your role.
Job supports may include:
- Job Coaching to support workplace success.
- Funded Work Experience to help offset employer costs related to onboarding and training.

EmploymentWorks Online is accessible to individuals across Canada, regardless of location. The service is available in both English and French, with team members who can provide live support in either language.
EmploymentWorks is designed for individuals who self-identify as Autistic, neurodivergent, or as a person with a disability and are actively looking for work. The service provides structured support focused on preparing for, obtaining, and sustaining employment.
The online option provides flexibility while maintaining structured employment support.
EmploymentWorks helps you get a job by providing personalized planning, one-to-one support, active job search guidance, and hands-on workplace experience. Once you get a job, ongoing supports such as job coaching, workplace accommodations, funded work experience, and access to mental health resources are available to help you succeed and stay employed.
Job Seekers may receive support for up to 12 months from their service start date. Funding for the current project is set to expire on March 31, 2027. Continued services beyond this date are subject to funding availability.
You do not need previous work experience. The service is intended for people who are ready and able to begin actively looking for work right now.
There are no fees to access EmploymentWorks.
